Teacher Services
- Teacher Certification - administration of regulations
and policies central to teacher certification, including assessment
of teacher qualifications and issuing teacher certificates.
- Teacher Classification - assist school boards
in determining teacher classification
- Registry of all teachers in Saskatchewan Kindergarten
to Grade 12 schools.
- Teacher Recruitment and Retention - administer
funding for school board initiatives to recruit and retain teachers.
A large portion of the funding is used to support teacher bursaries.
- Education Service Awards - prepared on the request
of the director of education for retiring educators
