A synchrotron produces super brilliant light that has useful applications in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geology, Archaeology and many other disciplines. A representative from the Canadian Light Source Synchrotron, Canada’s newest flagship science research facility, will describe what a synchrotron is, how it works, and what it can be used for.
