This web site was conceptualized, designed and developed by Saskatchewan
Learning to provide web-based resources to support the new curriculum.
Psychology 20: Social Psychology deals with
how we act and interact in a social world. It is a study in human
thoughts, feelings and behaviours, how we influence other people
and how they in turn influence us. Social psychology deals with
matters of the heart, soul and mind. It is an opportunity to
reflect upon ourselves, who we are, why we do what we do, and
what kind of person we want to become. Resources included in

Psychology 30: Human Development considers human
development across the lifespan from conception to death. Using
the stage approach, we look at how humans develop physically,
mentally, emotionally, socially and spiritually. We address the
influence of the various "systems of support" as described by
Urie Bronfenbrenner (1979) at each stage of development. Resources

Teacher resources are those supplemental documents,
resources, activities and strategies to complement the printed
curriculum guides. Links are included to download the two curriculum

Student projects is a collection of student-produced
materials. Pilot projects have been initiated in several schools
across Saskatchewan. Focusing on web-based research and the creation
of electronic resources and projects, students have created topical
reports, case studies and dialectics.
Links to web sites of related interest are
provided to teachers. Included are links to web sites including
the Social Sciences Unit, Evergreen Curriculum, the Central iSchool
